Thinner: WATER
Use: Flexible paint resistant to damp and high temperatures. Used for impregnation of stator, coils, transformers, low-and medium-speed rotors, brakes. APPLICATION ON LARGE MOTORS IS NOT RECOMMENDED. The firing difficulty is given by the fact that water escape from the hollws is slow.
Before using the water-based paint, check that:
- the furnace functions properly so that all the parts of the chamber reach an adeguate temperature.
- the furnace adequately extracts steam (the water must be able to evaporate freely).
Properties: good stability in the tank, odourless in the tank and during firing, excellent cementation of the windings, relatively short firing cycles.
