Uses
Suitable for transferring liquids containing impurities.
They are normally used in cases in which there is no room on the upper part of the tank. In those cases in which the liquid is particularly dirty, it is best to build the tank in compartments to allow sludge to deposit before this is sucked up by the pump. To ensure correct pump life, this must not run dry as the mecha- nical seals are not self-lubricated.
